Hooray! We have another new student joining the team. A warm welcome to Emma Stainforth who started with us in January 2025. Emma joins us having completed a BSc Honours in Biology from Dalhousie University – studying the presence of pathogens in Black-legged ticks (Ixodes scapularis). Emma will be working on an exciting collaborative project on leafhoppers, climate change, and agricultural practices – as part of the LeafHope Project with the Edel-Lab and Wild Blueberry Producers of Nova Scotia. We are so excited to see this work roll out, and welcome Emma to the lab! Happy New Year!
