Congratulations to Samantha for completing her Admission to Candidacy (ATC) examination. Samantha’s research focuses on the downstream impacts of including methanogenic inhibitors on different environmental endpoints associated with cow dung. The examination was very thorough, and Samantha made answering a wide variety of questions look like a walk in the park. Preparation and hard work pay off: congratulations Samantha!
Next, the lab is growing! Saran Jayaselvam (BSc Plant Science Student) has joined the lab. He will begin his field season in May 2024, working on understanding how coprophagous insects might improve food safety through interfering with pathogen transmission.
Also, we celebrated some birthdays too! Thanks for the cake (Alexe) and the delicious biriyani (Saran).
